Gaming Mice

What is all the hype about gaming mice? Most serious gamers know why using a good gaming mouse is so important compared to using a standard mouse. It is true that good ones are generally more expensive, but most of us think that they are well worth spending the extra few bucks on. Overall, they just provide more comfort, improved gaming control, better performance, and sharper precision.

When playing games you want to excel. You want to completely blow the competition away. Most of the popular laser gaming mouse like the R.A.T. series by Cyborg or the G700 by Logitech have a much higher polling rate than the other more standard mouses. What it means is that the mouse reads the surfaces of the mouse pad or the desk at a higher rate and that it makes the mouse more responsive. They offer much sharper precision than any optical mouse. These infrared laser gaming mouses usually come with laser sensor technologies designed for improved sensitivity. Lots of the gaming mouses on the market today generally show us that the majority have a resolution of over 2000DPI. For example, the Logitech G700 has a resolution of 2000 DPI while the Razer DeathAdder has a resolution of 3500 DPI and the Cyborg R.A.T. 9 has an amazing 5600 DPI. Besides the gaming mice having all of these great features, they are mostly all adjustable.

The manufacturing process for this new era of gaming mouses is vastly different than that of the standard optical mouse. They are designed specifically for competitive gaming purposes and many of them have unique features such as grip shape and buttons locations that would allow comfort and efficiency of use. Their sizes and weight are also carefully designed in order to let players use them through an extended period of time. Many of these products even come with weights, a feature standard mice simply won't ever have.

Unlike standard optical mouses, gaming mouses usually have many more buttons to provide extra controls and functions. For example, the R.A.T. 9 has extra buttons and different controls that are versatile and able to be programmed. The Logitech G700, being the mouse which is designed for MMORPG, even has a 13 button thumb pad. This helps the player not having to use the keyboard and keeps their attention on the screen instead. From what I can tell, PC gaming capabilities will continue to impress us with one technological advance after another.

Minecraft Survival Guide

Minecraft Survival Guide

Minecraft has received huge amounts of praise recently for being one of the most creative games conceived for many years. Each game is randomly built of hundreds of thousands of cubes. There are many different types of cube. Ranging from solid rock, or dirt and even lava blocks.
You can spend all your time building huge castles, or all your time mining for coal. The choice really is yours to do whatever you feel.

I'll cover here the basics of surviving your first night. The first is always the worst.
At night a whole variety of monsters and bad guys spawn and try and end the life of your player. Skeletons fire arrows from what seems like miles away, spiders jump out of nowhere and chase you for miles and zombies hide behind corners waiting to jump on the player when he least expects it.

Day Time.
During your first Minecraft day you should collect enough raw material to see you through the night. Start with wooden logs to make planks and sticks, then mine some coal and rock for picks and torches.

Crafting a stone sword will help in case any stray monsters penetrate your defences unexpectedly.
Build a small dwelling where you can hide out if you find yourself surrounded by monsters.

Night Time.
By now you should have enough materials to last the next 10 minutes of game time. People often use the night to mine for more stone resources, or go exploring in cave and mine systems.

Venturing out into the wild on the first few nights before you really have a feel for the game often leads to unexpected and annoying deaths. I found on my first night stepping out allowed a creeper to jump off my roof and explode on my head. Killing me instantly and destroying my home.
I spent the rest of the night just running around as every time I stopped an arrow whizzed past my head.

The second night is always easier, and the more you play the most resources you'll have to combat all the monsters.

Remember to have fun. You'll be addicted before you know it.

World Of Warcraft: Top 10 Races For Rogues

Are you in a situation where you would like to play a Rogue in World of Warcraft (WoW) but you get yourself stuck on which race is the best for your rogue character? This WoW Rogue guide will assist you on deciding the race that you are most comfortable with for your rogue. However, please take note that this is only a brief WoW Rogue guide and does not give a complete leveling guide.

About the Rogue: The rogue class in WoW is extremely popular as you can see the number of rogues in the WoW servers. The rogue is not an easy character to play with but with practice and skill, the rogues are perfect for the kill. The rogue is more focused on stealth attacks and backstabs, so generally it is more focused on PVP kills and some players may find it difficult to level up on PVE. Some beginners of WoW actually ignore the racial benefits of each race. But in WoW, these certain racial skills can provide you with the advantage in a battlefield. So choosing the best race in creating the rogue character is an essential first step.

Below you can find the races that are most often used for Rogue Classes:

a. Undead (horde):
The undead race is extremely popular for Rogues for their ability "Will with the Forsaken" that removes charm, fear and sleep effects.

b. Humans (alliance):
Humans can escape from movement impairment effects using "Every Man for Himself".

c. Gnome (alliance):
They can also free themselves from movement impairment effects making use of "Escape Artist" skill. They're small characters so it makes it hard to click target on them on the battlefield.

d. Worgen (alliance):
They can boost their movement speed by 40% and increase their critical strike rating by 1%.

e. Orc (horde):
The Orcs can boost their attack and spell power for a few seconds, they can also reduce stun effect durations by 15%.

f. Dwarf (alliance):
Dwarves can remove the effects of bleed, poison and disease, adding 10% defense to their armor.

g. Troll (horde):
The trolls can increase their attack speed via "Berserking", and can reduce the duration of movement disabling effects by 15%.

h. Night elf (alliance):
Night elves can be undetected as long as they remain motionless. They can also increase movement speed during stealth.

i. Blood elf (horde):
Blood elves can silence enemies for 2 seconds.

j. Goblin (horde):
Their "Rocket Jump" can be useful for chasing or escaping.
Each race features a unique individual racial skill which can be used to your benefit during attacks in PVP or PVE. Choose the best race that you are most comfortable and most compatible with your gaming style. We offer other WoW strategy guides that can be found on the website, check them out sometime.
